Saskatoon police have arrested five people and charged them all with kidnapping with intent to hold for ransom on Friday. 

Police say they received a report of an ongoing kidnapping on Thursday. 

A man went to Saskatoon Police after his son told him that he was being held against his will in a vehicle, according to a press release. 

Police say the five people demanded a large sum of money for the release of the man's son.
